Under 18 · Everything
Everything a first-time driver under 18 needs, in one order: the required 6-hour DETS course, practice tests to rehearse on, and the official permit test online. Completion is reported to the FLHSMV for you.
Under 18 · Course + test
The 6-hour course Florida requires of first-time drivers under 18, plus the official Class E Knowledge Exam taken online. Finish the course and sit the permit test without leaving home.
18 and older · Course + practice
The drug and alcohol course Florida requires of first-time drivers 18 and older, plus practice tests so the Class E Knowledge Exam is not the first time you see the questions.
Under 18 · Test only
Rehearse on our practice tests until the questions stop surprising you, then take the real Class E Knowledge Exam online. For students who have already completed their course.
Which package
Florida requires the 6-Hour DETS course before your learner’s license. If you also want the permit test online, that is the DETS Combination; add practice tests and it is the Complete Student Package, which is the one most students take.
You need the 4-Hour TLSAE drug and alcohol course instead of DETS. Pair it with practice tests in the TLSAE Combination. The online permit test is for unlicensed drivers under 18, so it is not part of this package.
If your DETS or TLSAE certificate is already filed, you only need the test half: the Permit Combination pairs practice tests with the official Class E Knowledge Exam online.

Taking the permit test online is open only to applicants under 18 who have never held a license. The clerk of court and the tax collector may charge their own separate fees, which are paid to them, not to us.
